Applicants will be selected for interview on the basis of the
information provided on the UCAS application form. We recommend
that applicants pay particular attention to the information they
provide in their personal statement. Use the form to
demonstrate a proven interest and relevant experience in the field
of stage management and technical theatre.
The stage management course is extremely
demanding, both mentally and physically, and we look for students
that can cope with the intense and demanding nature of
course. Students will cover a huge range of classes, projects
and productions and be introduced to areas of stage management and
technical theatre which they may have never considered before. We
need students with imagination, curiosity, and dedication who can
respond to the challenges of the training.
Following an interview, conditions of any subsequent offers made
are determined on the individual applicants'
qualifications and the interview process. The College accepts
many different qualifications including A-Levels, Scottish
Highers, BTEC National Diploma/Certificate, WBQ, International
Baccalaureate, Advanced GNVQ, AVCE or Advanced Diploma (Level
3) as well as recognised international
Any conditions set are made on grades not UCAS tariff
The College may consider applications from applicants without
formal qualifications if they have an exceptional level of
practical ability and experience.
