Entry Requirements

Applicants will be selected for interview on the basis of the information provided on the UCAS application form. We recommend that applicants pay particular attention to the information they provide in their personal statement. Use the form to demonstrate a proven interest and relevant experience in the field of stage management and technical theatre.

The stage management course is extremely demanding, both mentally and physically, and we look for students that can cope with the intense and demanding nature of course. Students will cover a huge range of classes, projects and productions and be introduced to areas of stage management and technical theatre which they may have never considered before. We need students with imagination, curiosity, and dedication who can respond to the challenges of the training.

Following an interview, conditions of any subsequent offers made are determined  on the individual applicants' qualifications and the interview process. The College accepts many different qualifications including A-Levels, Scottish Highers, BTEC National Diploma/Certificate, WBQ, International Baccalaureate, Advanced GNVQ, AVCE or Advanced Diploma (Level 3) as well as recognised international qualifications.

Any conditions set are made on grades not UCAS tariff points.

The College may consider applications from applicants without formal qualifications if they have an exceptional level of practical ability and experience.
