First Round Audition Dates
Each year we hold first round auditions at RWCMD in Cardiff
and in a number of cities around the UK, usually between
January and April for entry in September of the same year.
Auditions will also be held in New York and Chicago in
January/February 2020.
Applicants who live outside the UK can submit a video recording. However, you should be aware that we
are sometimes unable to make a firm offer of a place on the basis
of a recording alone and, if you are shortlisted, you may be asked
to attend a recall audition in person at RWCMD in Cardiff.

basis and if we’re not able to offer you a date at your chosen
location you will be allocated a first round audition
date at RWCMD in Cardiff.
Recall Auditions
Recall auditions are usually held in April and May. All the
recall auditions will be held on the College campus at RWCMD in
Cardiff.
