Ceri trained in Music Technology at Royal Welsh College of Music
and Drama, and carried on at postgraduate level, gaining a Masters
in Creative Music Technology. It was during this time that Ceri
developed further interests in electro-acoustic composition,
interactive composition methods, and multi-facetted music
installations. Simultaneously, Ceri trained as a workshop leader
and began working in the RWCMD outreach department, travelling
across Wales to provide workshops for the LloydsTSB Note To Note
scheme and then in conjunction with First Campus.
Ceri now continues to develop and deliver interactive music
projects for pupils of a variety of ages in schools across Wales,
most recently working on the Hear Here project with Classic FM in
seven Cardiff primary schools. Ceri is interested in creating new
and exciting interactive music both individually and with groups,
where she explores different compositional process and techniques.
Ceri is currently looking at applying her own creative practice to
her teaching, collaborating with creative music technology students
to compose innovative pieces at workshops and seminars.
