Anna Menzies performs across the UK and Europe as soloist,
recitalist and chamber musician. A member of the Gildas Quartet,
she gives frequent recitals including at the Purcell Room,
Bridgewater Hall and Wigmore Hall, at international festivals and
on BBC Radio 3. Her interests span from early to contemporary music
and she enjoys regular collaborations with composers, most recently
working with Colin Matthews, Harrison Birtwistle and Philip
Cashian.
Anna taught at the Yehudi Menuhin School for several years and
is now a cello teacher at Chetham’s School of Music.
