The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama hosts a wide range
of events ranging from the NATO Summit Dinner 2014, the inaugural
St David Awards for the Welsh Government, the BBC Young Musician Of
The Year, the Academy of Marketing International Conference and
World Stage Design Expo 2013 as well as many dinners, meetings,
events and receptions.
The College hosts a magnificent set of conference and event
venues including a concert hall (seating up to 400 guests), theatre
(seating up to 180 guests), 10 state-of-the-art breakout and
meeting rooms, a versatile exhibition gallery and a stunning
contemporary three-storey glass-walled foyer accommodating up to
400 guests. We also host a café, bar and open-air terrace
overlooking the beautiful parks surrounding Cardiff Castle.

In addition, a suite of venues are housed in the Anthony Hopkins
Centre - the former Cardiff Castle stables with its historic
courtyard. The tree-lined avenue leading to this centre provides a
very impressive park entrance for your delegates and guests.
Conferencing and Events with a Creative Difference
As a creative venue, we can add an extra dimension to your
events such as providing professional musicians, a jazz trio, a
classical music ensemble - even a staged piece of performance
combat! We also offer a creative edge with specialist lighting and
theatrical backdrops to theme your dinner, conference, awards
ceremony, corporate event, seminar or meeting.
In summary, a world-class centre in one of Cardiff's most
sought-after locations.
“I wanted to express my sincere thanks to you and
you team for helping to make our evening truly magical. The food,
ambience and running of the evening were truly excellent; your
professionalism and dedication are simply second to none and I
would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your services
and the venue to others.
Please do extend my thanks to your wider team, including Alison and
Tim; the fact that our singing efforts have found their way onto
YouTube already is testament to the success and excitement the
event generated! Exactly as desired.
I feel truly proud to be already part of the new building’s
history; thank you so much again for allowing us to be part of
it.
I sincerely hope to work with you again sometime in the future.
With my best wishes.”
