Concordia Trio - Piano Trio

The Concordia Piano Trio was formed in November 2017 at the
Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. As an ensemble they are
passionate about chamber music and the group enjoy performing
together as friends, hoping to inspire their audiences through
music.
The trio has performed in Masterclasses with the Gould Piano
Trio and the Albion Quartet, and has received coaching from many
different teachers at RWCMD including Nicola Thomas, Richard
Ormrod, Simon Phillippo, Lesley Hatfield, Robin Green and James
Kirby. They also performed for Daniel Tong, Head of Chamber Music
at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
The Trio was awarded the Bridgewood and Neizert Chamber Music
Prize in June 2018 for their performance of the Dvorak Dumky Trio.
They were also selected to participate in the McGrenery Chamber
Music Prize, a competition for outstanding chamber groups.
Comprising Deva Rossi and Jose
Matias, the trio is completed by Matilde Viegas who is
currently studying with Nicola Thomas at RWCMD.
