Originally from Southampton, Mezzo-Soprano Rachel
Gray is in her second year of studying for a Masters in
Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in
Cardiff, under the tutelage of Lorna Anderson.
She completed a BMus degree at the London College of Music from
which she graduated with First Class Honours in 2013.
Recent opera scenes roles have included Carmen (Carmen, Bizet),
Iolanthe (Iolanthe, G&S), Suzanne (Louise, Charpentier) and
2nd Boy (Magic Flute, Mozart). Soloist oratorio work has
included; Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai, Vivaldi’s
Gloria and Mcdowell’s Ave Maris Stella.
From 2011 to September 2017, she was a member of the Salvation
Army’s premier choir, the International Staff Songsters, for whom
she was a regular soloist. With them, Rachel has performed at the
Royal Albert Hall, the O2 Arena and Birmingham Symphony Hall and
also travelled to Argentina, Uruguay, United States of America,
Norway, Kenya, Australia and New Zealand.

Described as ‘a rare breed of accompanist, exquisitely
sympathetic to the needs of a soloist’, Joseph Cavalli-Price has received
numerous awards for his accompanying including; the Layton Watkins
Memorial Award, the Richard Harris Memorial Award, the Veal Award
for Outstanding Musicianship, the St Elli Masonic Lodge Bursary
Award and was a finalist in the Eleri Evans Memorial Award.
Joseph is the accompanist of Only Boys Aloud, Cor Caerdydd,
Cardiff Arms Park Male Voice Choir, ReChoir and a key player with
the Welsh Musical Theatre Orchestra. Joseph made his debut at the
Royal Albert Hall in May 2018, as guest accompanist of the Festival
of Massed Male Choirs. Other notable performances include working
as the official accompanist for Wales’ Festival of Remembrance and
as the official accompanist for Sir Karl Jenkins’ 75th Birthday
Concert at St David’s Hall, Cardiff. A former Organ Scholar at the
Metropolitan Cathedral of St David, Cardiff, Joseph had the honour
of accompanying the choir in a performance for HRH The Prince of
Wales.
Joseph undertakes regular wedding, corporate and charity work
and has performed at events for organisations including; Barclays,
Clifford Chance, Bloodwise, Childline, Cancer Research, The
International Women’s Forum, Cardiff Blues, Association of
Laparoscopic Surgeons, Bobath Cymru, European Society of
Criminology, Royal Military Police and David Lloyd Clubs.
