Christian Lindberg with students

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is Wales’ national conservatoire and one of the UK’s six royal colleges of music and drama.

Each year, we prepare up to 700 talented young artists for professional work in music - including opera and jazz - musical theatre, acting, theatre design and stage management. These students, the academics who teach them and a wide range of performers from all over the world, who visit to share their experience with students and to perform in the beautiful Dora Stoutzker Hall and Richard Burton Theatre, represent an extraordinary creative community to treasure.

Connect is RWCMD’s new annual giving scheme through which members of the public can, very directly, get behind this community and all the College’s work.

One-off donations and single gifts for academic development, particular performance projects and, most importantly, student scholarships and international chairs are also greatly needed. To learn more about the College’s plans in these areas, please contact us.
