Young Actors Studio West Wales

In 2014, the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, in partnership with Valero, introduced its Young Actors Studio to West Wales. Based in Pembrokeshire, the courses bring the very best in actor training for young people aged 12 – 20 to the region, offering the opportunity to work with established Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama staff and other industry specialists in their field. The Young Actors Studio holds weekly Acting Courses and Theatre Workshop Classes every Saturday at Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest.

Working with RWCMD

We are very proud of our teachers at the Young Actors Studio and our students benefit from their experience of working in film, television and theatre. Many of our staff work in RWCMD in Cardiff as well as a broad range of other arts organisations such as the National Theatre, BBC, Royal Shakespeare Company, and a range of film and television companies.

Getting Involved

We are continuing to visit schools and colleges throughout this term to make sure that we give as many people as possible the chance to experience the type of training we offer and to give those students who may have missed out on these opportunities the chance to get involved.

If you have been unable to attend our workshops or auditions but would like more information on our classes, email
